All students of The Glasgow School of Art are required to enrol at the beginning of each year of their programme of study. In doing so, they will sign an understanding to abide by the GSA's rules and regulations and to observe the regulations and requirements of the University of Glasgow.

Separate regulations apply to students living in the Halls of Residence. These will be made available to students who are made an offer of residential accommodation.

GSA will use all reasonable endeavour to deliver programmes in accordance with the descriptions set out in the course information. However,GSA reserves the right to make variations to the contents or methods of delivery of programmes, to discontinue programmes and to merge or combine programmes, if such action is reasonably considered to be necessary. If the GSA discontinues any programme, it will endeavour to provide a suitable alternative.

The GSA cannot accept responsibility and expressly excludes liability for students' property lost or damaged on GSA premises.

The GSA holds personal data on all applicants and enrolled students. All such data is kept in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act.

The GSA will take all reasonable steps to provide the educational services described and in other documents dealing with teaching, examination and assessment and with the provision of support facilities. However, the GSA cannot guarantee to provide these services to you, since industrial action or circumstances beyond its control may, from time to time, interfere with its ability to do so. In such circumstances the GSA will take all reasonable steps to minimise any disruption to your education.
