Tender for the Appointment of Biomass Boiler Installation & District Heating Upgrade Contractor

Stage 1: Pre Qualification

The Glasgow School of Art is undertaking a two-stage (Restricted) tendering process for the appointment of a Contractor for the delivery of the Design and Installation of a new Biomass Boiler and associated plant to serve the existing District Heating System within the Glasgow School of Art Garnethill Campus.  The works will also comprise of upgrade to the existing District Heating System

This tendering process is being conducted through Public Contracts Scotland and a corresponding notice of this tender has been placed on their website

(www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk).

The requirement at this stage is for all parties interested in being considered to be invited to submit tenders at stage 2 of the process to complete and submit a Pre-Qualification.

As directed in the Contract Notice placed within Public Contracts Scotland, applicants that intend to submit a PQQ should register their interest through the Public Contract Scotland website, with Heather Gemmell (Project Manager) at Turner & Townsend

All expressions of interest should be submitted by the 11th November 2011 (by 12.00 noon).

Applicants are asked to note that the final date for the return of completed PQQ's is Friday 18th November 2011 (by 12.00 noon). Instructions for submission of completed PQQ's are included within the document.
