I specialise in CoDesign, creativity and design thinking, particularly in creative complexity and cross-cultural issues. I carried out ethnographical studies and action research through experimental workshop to research CoDesign strategies across digital, new product and service design. Currently I am exploring the complex structure of creative imagery shared among stakeholders during early design collaboration. I develop methods for teams to collaboratively visualise and interact in design space. My latest experimental workshop explored the use of drama and acting as an embodied CoDesign visualisation tool. Prior to my PhD in design, I was an interaction designer, creative manager and multimedia producer, where I have led multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams to design digital and new product. I am currently visiting professor at leading design universities in China where I carried out experimental workshop every year. I also curated the bi annual Creative Emergence CoDesign symposium with academics and practitioners. At leisure, I am interested in poetry, painting, meditation and holistic medicine. I am also multilingual in English, Chinese and Malay.
