Steve Rigley

Steve Rigley is a designer, lecturer and occasional writer based in the department of Communication Design where he leads the Graphic Design pathway.

He has contributed papers to a number of journals and International conferences including the Association Typographique Internationale, the AIGA and the World Design Congress, and has been a visiting lecturer at institutions in Europe, India, China and the USA. In 2011 he was the recipient of a UKIERI exchange award with the National Institute of Design in India.

Steve is interested in supervising practice-based research in graphic design history and pedagogy, and the mapping of practice and creative writing as tools for discourse.
