What we do >

Our Widening Participation team works with pupils from 90 target secondary schools and young people with experience of care. We help young people understand what studying a visual creative course is like and enable them to build a diverse and interesting portfolio of work for application to visual creative courses in further or higher education.

We run a range of taster and portfolio courses alongside special events delivered in partnership with galleries, museums and other creative organisations in Scotland.

All of our activities are free of charge and take place in the evening, at weekends and during school holidays, so they don't clash with the school timetable.

Young people we worked with this year have gained offers from visual creative courses from many Universities including the Glasgow School of Art, University of Glasgow, University of Edinburgh, University of Dundee, Robert Gordon University, University of Strathclyde, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Napier University, Birmingham City University and London Metropolitan University.
