ACES at The Glasgow School of Art >

The Access to Creative Education in Scotland (ACES) project is a major widening participation project at The Glasgow School of Art, funded by the Scottish Funding Council.

It aims to encourage S4 - S6 pupils from 90 target schools in the West of Scotland to make informed choices about degree level study in Art & Design and Architecture. The project seeks to widen participation in Higher Education for students who are often under-represented in universities, which means it aims to encourage applications from young people who may be the first in their family to go to University, come from a low-income background or have experienced adverse circumstances.

Pupils who are interested in applying to Art & Design and Architecture courses at The Glasgow School of Art, are encouraged to apply to ACES directly. Teachers and other professionals who work with young people can also nominate pupils.
