The
central aim of the Masters courses offered by the Department of Historical and
Critical Studies is to give art, design and architecture professionals a deeper
understanding of their practice in terms of scholarship and research.
The
degree also aims to allow for dialogue across art, design and architecturein education
and thus, for individuals working in a variety of settings, to exchange ideas
and information in the context of research.
This year's graduating students
will add value to the organisations and communities they are part of, helping
to innovate, question and set policy, and contribute to the development of the
art, design and architecture in Scotland and beyond.
