In collaboration with Artangel, The Glasgow School of Art will be offering a free, drop-in life class for members of the public to attend on Wednesday 24th June 2009.
Artangel is organising further drop-in classes in various locations across the UK, including five venues in London as well as Manchester, Bristol, Southhampton and Glasgow. At each location during lunchtime, a class appears for just two hours and passers-by are invited to sit behind an easel, pick up a pencil and draw.
If you would like to attend the Glasgow drop-in life class, no booking is neccessary, just turn up at The Glasgow School of Art, McLellan Galleries where the class will be taking place. The McLellan Galleries is directly adjacent to the Mackintosh Building (167 Renfrew Street) and access to the life room is via the McLellan Galleries rear door on Renfrew Street.
During the two hour slot, four half hour classes will take place. Classes will start at 12 noon, 12.30pm, 1pm and 1.30pm. Please arrive shortly before your chosen start time. Each class is limited to 20 people.
