- GSA alumni include Turner Prize Winners Richard Wright (2009), Simon Starling (2005) and Douglas Gordon (1996) and since 2005 30% of nominees have been GSA graduates
- Three GSA alumni won the Beck's Futures - the UK's leading art prize for young artists during its 6 year run - Roddy Buchanan, Toby Paterson and Rosalind Nashashibi
- Each year GSA alumni, friends, trusts, foundations and companies donate nearly half a million pounds towards scholarships and enriching the student experience
- GSA alumni can be found worldwide including USA, Canada, China, Japan, Singapore and across Europe
- In 2005 1/3 of the new designers recruited by Dyson were GSA graduates
- Robbie Coltrane, Muriel Gray, Peter Capaldi and Carol Smillie are all alumni of the GSA
- The American Friends of the Glasgow School of Art is based in New York - just part of the GSA's international network
- GSA graduates have dominated Scotland's presence at the Venice Biennale since 2003, including Martin Boyce solo exhibition in 2009, 5 of the 6 artists in 2007, all of the artist in 2005 and 70% of them in 2004.
- BAFTA Scotland winners from the GSA include Louise Lockwood, Lesley Barnes and James Houston.
- GSA has produced brands such as Franz Ferdinand, Travis and El Presidente - reinforcing Glasgow's position as Europe's rock music capital
