RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION

What kind of accommodation does GSA have?

The Glasgow School of Art is able to offer accommodation in Margaret Macdonald House, our own purpose built student residence and Kelvinhaugh Street - owned by The University of Glasgow and sub-leased to The Glasgow School of Art. GSA has also recently aquired the Old School House. The Old School House is a former guest house located behind our library building on Renfrew Street.

Where is the accommodation in relation to the campus?

Margaret Macdonald House is situated within a couple of minutes walking distance of The Glasgow School of Art, within a residential area just off the city centre. Kelvinhaugh is located nearer the west end of the city, close to Kelvingrove Park, the University of Glasgow and the popular Byres Road. It is approximately 10/15 minutes walk from Kelvinhaugh to the main GSA campus. The Old School House is on Renfrew Street just behind our campus library.

Is it possible for me to look at the rooms before I accept my offer of accommodation?
