Applicants should note that the demand for accommodation outweighs the number of rooms available in our student halls of residence. For this reason we require to prioritise applications and allocate accommodation based on the following criteria:
Applicants should note that the accommodation is not offered on a first come first serve basis and fulfilling one or more of the above criteria does not guarantee an offer of accommodation.
Applicants who are not offered residential student accommodation will be assisted by the Student Welfare Department to help find suitable student accommodation in the private sector.
Applications are invited from students who have received an 'Unconditional' or 'Conditional' offer of study at the Glasgow School of Art. If you apply with a 'Conditional' offer, your application will be held on file until your offer becomes 'Unconditional'. Your application will then be processed using the priority criteria detailed above. This system ensures that all applicants have an equal opportunity.
When you receive an offer of a place on a course of full-time study at GSA you will also be sent a Student Accommodation application form. Please complete and return the application form by post, or scan and email your application form. Please note that faxed applications are not accepted. You can download a pdf version of the application here.
Please contact Fiona Sloan for additional or alternative format forms.
