• We are one of the UK's largest PG communities in the visual creative disciplines with over 50% of students from overseas
• Our specialist research centres include 3D visualisation and interaction, architecture and environmental design, digital textiles, historical and cultural studies, drawing, fine art practice and pedagogy
• We have research partnerships with institutions worldwide including the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and the College of Fine Arts at the University of New South Wales
• Our research practice supports interdisciplinarity across our own creative disciplines and other fields such as medical science
• The GSA offers a range of modes of resaerch degree submission from traditional thesis to a portfolio with written commentary
