Construction of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Glasgow School of Art began in 1896. Today we retain our original purpose as a hardworking art school attracting talented students from all over the world. 'Mackintosh's Masterwork' has taken its place as one of the most influential structures of the twentieth century and our guides give you a rare insight behind the scenes at Mackintosh's breathtaking original interiors, furniture and artwork.
The tour of the Mackintosh Building has been recommended by visitors on Trip Advisor and in the press:
'We moved inside and thus commenced a wonderful tour of the place complete with a stellar Mackintosh biography and a fine dissection of the abundant imagery in Mackintosh's designs.' - ARRON BRITT, SENIOR EDITOR DWELL MAGAZINE
'It's seriously glorious, and I had to stop myself from squealing in delight at every nook and cranny........ thoroughly recommend that you pre-book one of the daily guided tours. Make sure you pay a visit to the excellent School of Art Shop, where you can buy all manner of lovely Mackintosh-themed paraphernalia, as well as the latest collections from the School's graduates.' - WEE BIRDY LONDON, WEEBIRDY.COM
