Accommodation Appliations 2019/20

Applications for 2019/20 will be open for Undergraduates at the end of February 2019. You will be emailed once our application system has been opened with an invitation to create an application should you be interested in our halls of residence. In the meantime, we suggest familiarising yourself with our site information for Blythswood House and Margaret Macdonald House.

For other courses, we anticipate that applications for session 2019/20 will open mid March 2019. Any changes to rental prices will also be updated in line with the opening of applications. Please be advised that all halls applications must be received before the deadline of 31st May 2019 for September 2019 entry. We will accept applications after the 31st May, but priority goes to applicants meeting the deadline stated above.

Applicants should note that sometimes the demand for accommodation outweighs the number of rooms available. If this is the case, priority is given to students who have accepted an offer of full-time study at GSA, have no previous experience of living independently, have a recognised and declared disability or special needs, or lives out with daily travelling distance.

Application processing begins in June and notification of the outcome of applications is usually communicated by the end of June. If your application is successful, we will invite you to book your room when your offer of a place at the GSA becomes unconditional. In the event that we cannot offer you halls, we will refer you to our Student Support Services who can assist with flat hunting in the private sector.
