David Kohn studied architecture at the University of Cambridge and at Columbia University, New York as a Fulbright Scholar.  In 2009 he was the recipient of the Architecture Foundation's Young Architect of the Year Award.  David is currently a diploma tutor at London Metropolitan University and has previously taught at the University of Cambridge, the London School of Economics and the University of Bath. He is a member of the London Boroughs of Newham and Southwark Design Review Panels, a mentor on the Sorrell Foundation Young Design Programme and regularly writes in the architectural press on cultural issues and the arts.

Hosted by The Mackintosh School of Architecture, the Architecture Friday Lecture Series looks beyond buildings and makes connections between architecture and wider issues like culture and the urban environment.
