'Artist's Talk' watch video

GSA graduate Henry Coombes talks about embracing your inner child in the pursuit of making art, and presents the premier of his new film 'Just Say Cheese'.

Henry will ask the audience to consider such questions as: 'If you were stuck in departures for a day because of a strike, and you had two rooms with distracting activities to choose from, which one would you instinctively go with? One has dumb shit in it like bouncy castles, dressing up as monkeys, pretending to be giants, OAP twister etc. The other room is designed to culturally and intellectually broaden your mind, through reading theory and watching a selection of art house cinema.

The Wednesday Event at the Glasgow School of Art is a series of informal lectures, screenings, panel discussions and pecha kuchas, organised primarily by Cultural Engagement and Exhibitions, with input from the rest of the school.  Designed to be cross-school, cross-platform and cross-disciplinary, some of them might even make you cross!
