Applying to The Glasgow School of Art?

We offer a range of events throughout the year to get the right application information at the right time, online and in person.

Pre-Application Advice Session: School of Simulation and Visualisation

This event is for you if:

  • You know you want to apply to Immersive Systems Design or Sound for the Moving Image.
  • You are a prospective undergraduate student.
  • You are in the process of making an application or are about to make one.

This is an opportunity to pop in to GSA and visit a specific department as part of a small specialised group. Visit studios, ask more direct questions in person with other applicants and interact with staff and students. You will receive advice directly from that department on applying to them, submitting a portfolio and producing a personal statement.

Register online via Eventbrite. Places for this event are limited and we would encourage only those at application stage for the following programmes to attend:

A Student Guide to the City:
Explore GSA's Glasgow with our student guides

Visiting GSA for a Pre-Application Advice Session? You, your friends and family are invited to join GSA's student guides for a free and exclusive guide to our city.

We recommend booking to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited to 20 per tour. Tours last 2 hours 15 minutes, finishing with a half hour coffee break, for prospective students to speak to our student guides on all aspects of life in Glasgow and at GSA. Book a free place online here.
