The 'Glasgow Style' City Walking Tour

Our 'Glasgow Style' city walking tour focuses on Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his contemporaries. Their architectural achievements shaped the industrial city and their applied designs showcase this distinct and unique contribution to the international Art Nouveau movement.

Explore this time of breathtaking growth and change from the Victorian greats to Mackintosh's new style, during this thriving industrial period in Glasgow, the 'Second city of the British Empire'. Discover the influence of a small group of GSA trained artists & designers who developed the radical, romantic 'Glasgow Style', creating a lasting impact is celebrated the world over.

The tour begins and ends at the GSA Visitor Centre and Shop at 11 Dalhousie Street.
