For the forthcoming session the Glasgow School of Art has three student residences, Margaret Macdonald House, our own purpose built student residence, the Old School House which is a former guest house located on the Garnethill campus and Victoria Hall which is off campus.

All our residential accomodation is within a short distance of the Garnethill Campus.  Margaret Macdonald House (MMH) is located on Buccleuch Street in the Garnethill area of Glasgow. The accommodation is sited less than 5 minutes walk from the Mackintosh Building. The Old School House (OSH) is located on Renfrew Street behind the GSA Library. The third site is Victoria Hall which is located close to the Caledonian University Campus within a busy and popular student area and is approx 10 mins walk to the Garnethill Campus.

VICTORIA HALL

Victoria Hall is a private hall of residence which accommodates over 400 students studying at several further and higher institutions in the city.  For session 2013/14 GSA hopes to secured an entire block for 80 students. 

All applications and allocations for this site for GSA students will be handled via the GSA Accommodation Office at Margaret Macdonald House.  On the GSA Halls application and comparison form the options and information for this site can be found alongside Margaret Macdonald House and Old School House details.
