AutoEval was a proof-of-concept 3D system incorporating real-time visualisation and interaction, developed for the Ford Motor Company, Detroit; it was designed ultimately to run on the next generation Volumetric Imaging Systems (ultra high resolution 3D without glasses or head tracking). The intuitive interface, based on 3D sound, gesture based interaction, and haptics (touch), was created to support advanced design and evaluation in the automotive industry.
