Programme Overview

The emphasis for this course is to develop a personal, bold and imaginative colour sense. Working directly from the life model students will create an expressive, colourful figurative language in various mediums: collage, inks, pastel, oil, acrylic and watercolour on board/canvas. You will also be experimenting with line, texture, and tone and incorporating working with movement. Students will develop the use and exploration of colour and composition to produce a series of paintings.
