Programme Overview

Graphic design is a constantly evolving discipline and is a dynamic and rewarding subject to study.

This beginner’s course will give you an understanding of fundamental design elements and principles. Covering typography, narrative and storytelling, signs, symbols, icons and wayfinding, logo design and idea generation. Practical exercises will provide an opportunity for students to explore and develop an understanding of how these principles are used across a selection of the field of design through weekly design briefs.

Discounted Fees
If you are a senior citizen in receipt of a state pension, unemployed or a full time FE or HE student, the discounted fee as stated in the course description is applicable. You will be required to email a scanned copy of your evidence to open-studio@gsa.ac.uk
