Cross-School Postgraduate Electives >

Cross-School Postgraduate Electives are available to most students on postgraduate programmes across Glasgow School of Art and offer students the opportunity to explore areas of their creative practice through interdisciplinary learning.

Electives are offered during term 1, exploring research and approaches to undertaking research at a postgraduate level, and term 2 offering a variety of complimentary topics introducing students to areas of study outside of their core programme of study.

To find out about the electives on offer for the 2016/17 academic session you should take a look at the Electives Options Booklet.

In order to select your preferred electives it is important that you ensure you have completed the enrolment process for your course prior to 18th of September 2016. After this time you will be asked to choose your three preferred electives and will be allocated from these choices. If you have not enrolled by this time we will not be able to guarantee you will be allocated from your elective choices.

The Cross-School Postgraduate Electives are administered and supported by the Learning and Teaching Team who are based on the 2nd floor of the Barnes Building. If you have any questions regarding the Cross-School Electives you can email us at electives@gsa.ac.uk.
