Programme Overview

The Department of Continuing Education offer a variety of courses for children from ages 7 to 15 years.  Courses are based around hands-on learning and children are encouraged to experiment in a variety of materials with activities designed to stimulate lateral thinking and creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment. As well as our core Drawing & Painting courses we also offer courses in more specialist areas for older students including Black & White Photography and Mixed Media Sculpture.

Portfolio Courses are also available for 5th and 6th Year Secondary School pupils.  The aim of the course is to aid students in cultivating the skills necessary to develop a Portfolio for further progression in the world of Art and Design.
