Programme Overview

This workshop is an introduction to black and white photography and will instruct you in the use of a 35mm film SR camera and its primary functions along with film processing and working in a darkroom. The course will cover camera handling, exposure control, contact printing, developing and enlarging. Using these skills you will learn to shoot your own photographs. There will also be the chance to build your own camera obscura providing and insight into the beginnings of the medium.
