Clearing 2019 >

Due to the studio-based nature of our programmes, we have a maximum number of students we can admit each year.  Of these, the number of places available for students from Scotland and the EU, is set by the Scottish Funding Council. A small number of these places remain available in the programmes listed below for suitably qualified and eligible applicants.

Scottish Vacancies
The Glasgow School of Art is committed to supporting and encouraging talented individuals to study with us, regardless of their background and economic circumstances.

As part of this commitment to ensuring widening access to Scottish students who live in an SIMD20* area, GSA programmes remain OPEN to applicants whose home addresses are within these areas.

*SIMD20 is defined as the 20% most deprived areas in Scotland based on the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation.

On receipt of your application Registry will check that your postcode is within an SIMD20 area. You can check this yourself on the Scottish Government’s website https://simd.scot/2016/#/simd2016/BTTTFTT/9/-4.0000/55.9000/

We currently have no vacancies for Scottish applicants who do not live in an SIMD20 area.

EU Vacancies
We currently have no vacancies for applicants who are nationals of the EU.

RUK Vacancies
To be eligible to apply for an RUK vacancy, you will normally be a UK national, ordinarily resident in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.

International Vacancies
To be eligible to apply for an international vacancy, you will normally be a national from a country outside of the EU.
