Programme Overview

This workshop is a short introduction to black and white photography and will instruct you in the use of a 35mm film camera and its primary functions along with film processing and working in a darkroom. The course will cover camera handling, exposure control, contact printing, developing and enlarging. Using these skills you will learn to shoot and develop your own photographs. You will be provided with one black and white film and a selection of printing paper over the weekend. Cameras can be borrowed from the Department
