Programme Overview

Concentrating on quick studies allows painters to get to the essence of painting. In this class we look at nine advantages to doing quick studies: editing, brush confidence, painting new subjects, composition exploration, colour exploration, exploring various lighting effects, basic practice, and recreation. The nine purposes for quick studies are the organising structure with explanations, examples and step-by-step demos provided for each purpose. We will complete one-hour paintings using this formula. Oil painters, acrylic painters and painters in any opaque medium who want to build their confidence and paint faster and better will want to take this class.
