Dr. Kenneth Chrystie

Dr Chrystie is Chair of the Hugh Fraser Foundation and a former senior partner at law firm McClure Naismith. He has extensive experience of commercial contracts, IP protection and commercialisation, including spinouts, licensing and joint ventures, arbitration and general corporate law. He is a founding member of The Intellectual Property Lawyers Organisation (TIPLO). Dr Chrystie graduated from Glasgow University in 1968, completing his PhD in 1972. Director and Chair of Culture and Sport Glasgow (Trading) CIC, Dr Chrystie was also a Trustee of the Kelvingrove Refurbishment Appeal Trust, is Deputy Chair of the Riverside Museum Appeal Trust, and a Trustee of the Glasgow Science Centre. He is a former President of the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts.
