Tax Effective Giving

If you are a UK taxpayer, the GSA can increase the value of your gift by almost a third through Gift Aid. This allows us to reclaim the tax on your gift (25p in every £1) from the Inland Revenue at no extra cost to you.

For example if you donate £100 the GSA will receive £125.

Higher rate tax payers can also reclaim the difference between the higher rate and basic rate through their own tax return.

If you have any queries please contact us on +44 (0) 141 566 1470.

US Donors

US taxpayers can make their donation through CAF America, under which your gift receives full tax exemption from the IRS under section 501(c)(3). Please go to the CAFAmerica page.

Fill in the form, putting Glasgow School Of Art under "Suggest a foreign nonprofit" and unchecking any other boxes. Our Charity Number under the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator is SC012490.

Please note your gift will be used at the absolute discretion of the Board of The Glasgow School of Art. However, if you wish your donation to be directed to a specific activity or area of the School, please indicate this in the "special instructions" box when making your donation and the Board will make every effort to ensure your wishes are complied with.
