GSA City Walking Tours last approximately two and a quarter
hours and are conducted by our award-winningTour Guides, all either
students or recent graduates of The Glasgow School of Art.
All proceeds from our tours support the School.
To participate in a guided tour as a group we recommend making a
private booking. This allows us to take care of any special
needs or additional requirements you may have and also allows you
to benefit from a personalised service and discounted price per
head. Please read the information below to learn about our
rules and restrictions, or visit our bookings
page for instructions on how to reserve your
place.
GROUP SIZE
Our maximum capacity is normally 15 people per GSA City Walking
Tour. This limit ensures that your group has the best possible
experience of the tour. For private bookings however we can
accept up to a maximum of 20 people per group, provided that
participants are happy to group closely together to ensure
audibility of the Tour Guide and efficient movement along the tour
route!
If your group size exceeds 20 people, the party will need to be
split into smaller, separate groups to participate in the
tour. GSA City Walking Tours are normally only available once
per day, however we will do our best to accommodate more than one
group per day if at all possible, subject to the availability of
our Tour Guides.
GROUP RATES
- Small group(up to 10 people)
£165
- Large group (up to 20 people) £330

We allow 1x translator to participate in the tour, free of

Please note that secondary school groups MUST be accompanied
by a minimum of 1 teacher or supervisor per group of up to 9, or 2
teachers or supervisors per group of up to 18, in order to ensure
the safety and encourage the cooperation of children. GSA City
Walking Tours are not suitable for primary age children.
Private group tours of the Mackintosh building at The Glasgow
School of Art are also available if your group would like to
combine this with a GSA City Walking Tour. Please complete
both booking request forms and we will help to coordinate the tours
to form a wonderful itinerary for your day in Glasgow. More
information on private group tours of the Mackintosh building,
including discounted pricing and timings for private groups, can be
found here.
If your group would rather book individually onto a public GSA
City Walking Tour, this can be done online and more information on
public tour pricing for GSA City Walking Tours can be found
here.

If you wish to make a private group booking out with this

very limited and we may not always be able to accommodate requests.
For large groups split into smaller parties, if we are able to
accommodate both groups on the same day, normally one group will
depart in the morning, and the other in the afternoon, once the
first group has returned and the Tour Guide has had a break.
Any flexibility you have to coordinate your timings with the above
schedule is appreciated.
Once your booking is confirmed, unfortunately we are not always
able to change the date or time of your City Walking Tour due to
the limited availability of our Guides.
LANGUAGES
All GSA City Walking Tours are conducted in English however we
are happy to welcome a translator as part of your group.
Please let us know if you will be bringing a translator and our
Tour Guide will tailor the tour accordingly.
