We suggest booking your private group tour a minimum of two
weeks in advance to give the widest choice of time slots and best
chance of availability. We can accommodate last minute bookings up
to 48 hours in advance of the requested visit date and time,
however last minute bookings are often subject to limited
availability.
The date and time of your group tour will be confirmed once we
have received your booking form, confirmed availability with you,
and received your non-refundable 50% deposit.
Step 1 - Booking Enquiry form
Please email us your completed
booking request form. If you require an
alternative format, please contact us at tours@gsa.ac.uk.
Step 2 - Deposit payment
We aim to respond to all booking enquiries within a maximum of 5
working days by telephone or email, or more quickly depending on
the tour date requested. Tour bookings are allocated on a first
come, first served basis. We will contact you by telephone or
email to confirm the closest available time slots to your request,
and to process the payment of your deposit.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking
and guarantee your preferred time slot(s).
The deposit can be paid:
- By debit or credit card over the telephone or in store.
Your receipt will be kept for you to collect on the day of your
tour. Your debit/credit card details will be destroyed
immediately after processing and will not be kept on file.
- By cash payment in person in the GSA Shop.
- By posting us a cheque made payable to 'Glasgow School of Art
Enterprises Ltd' (for bookings made more than two weeks in advance
only).
- By bank transfer (for bookings made more than two weeks in
advance only). Transfer instructions will be provided on
request.
Step 3 - Email confirmation
Once we have agreed your timeslot(s) and received your deposit
payment, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking to
print and bring with you. We will also send you our
'frequently asked questions' document for extra information you
might find useful in planning your visit.
Step 4 - Balance payment
The balance should then be paid on arrival at the GSA Shopon the
day of your tour, before your group starts their tour, either by
cash, cheque or debit/credit card. A receipt will be issued
for your records. Please note that the balance for private
group tours must be paid in one transaction. We apologise
that we cannot accept individual payments from each group
participant.
Alternative bookings / payment options
Payment of the balance by invoice can be arranged, please choose
this payment option on your booking form. Your group leader
will be required to confirm the group's participation on arrival at
the GSA Shop, before your group starts their tour, by signing a
form. We will send you an invoice on receipt of the signed
form.
Pre-payment of the full cost of your tour can also be arranged
in advance. Please contact us and we will
