Eddie Stewart

SMITH/STEWART (Stephanie Smith b.1968 & Eddie Stewart b.1961) have been working collaboratively since 1992 and have shown widely in the UK and internationally [including solo shows at Kunstmuseum Luzern; Portikus, Frankfurt; Chisenhale Gallery, London; Inverleith House, Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh and group shows in San Francisco MOMA; Kunsthalle Bern; Kunstverein Hannover; KunstWerke, Berlin; MAC/VAL, Paris].

Awards include: The Henry Moore Sculpture Fellowship, The British School at Rome and a SAC Creative Scotland Award.
Their work is represented in public collections in the UK, Europe, the USA and Japan: including the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh; Arts Council Collection, England and the Tate, London.
They both teach in the School of Fine Art. Eddie is a .5 Lecturer (Undergraduate 2nd year Course Leader) in the Department of Painting and Printmaking. Stephanie is a .2 Lecturer in Sculpture and Environmental Art (teaching in 4th year Undergraduate).
They work and live together in Glasgow.
