Event info

A Feral Studio is a space for talks, workshops, film showings, hack-labs and discussions loosely based around communication and design, but open to all students of The Glasgow School of Art interested in these topics and their expanded field. Talks are also free and open to the general public and design community.

Dominic Wilcox is a British designer who creates unique and innovative objects, drawings and installations. His work has been exhibited and published extensively worldwide, and is noted for its examination of the banal, and its ability to unearth hidden surprises in everyday life and objects.

This Feral Studio event combines a talk from Dominic about his work and recent projects, with the outcome of a 2 day design challenge, working with students of GSA. Students will work with both Dominic and MakLab to devise two rival machines, creating a ridiculous false dichotomy between Humanity Vs Technology, the outcomes of which will go head-to-head in a spectacularly contrived design tournament. Free refreshments will definitely be provided.

Doors at 6:30 for 6:45 start.

Tickets will go fast, and are slightly more limited for this event, so we've limited to one per person.

If you have friends coming please forward the link and ask them to book up too. Tickets via EventBrite.
