The ARCLIB annual conference brings together librarians from around the UK and beyond who are involved with architecture and the built environment. It was last held in Glasgow to celebrate its status as 1999 City of Architecture and Design, and returns to Scotland to coincide with the 2016 Festival of Architecture.
The three-day conference is being jointly hosted by the University of Strathclyde and The Glasgow School of Art, and its broad theme will be architectural regeneration, reuse and refurbishment, and how libraries and archives can support this. It will showcase good practice from Scotland and further afield, and feature a range of speakers from the worlds of architecture and librarianship.
