The Glasgow School of Art

Axel Wieder is a curator and writer and the director of Index the Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation in Stockholm, a post that he has held since 2014.

 From 2012 to 2014 he was the head of programme and curator of exhibitions at Arnolfini Center of Contemporary Arts in Bristol, where he organized, amongst others, "The Promise”, an exhibition about architecture and public space, and solo exhibitions with Joëlle Tuerlinckx and Ian Hamilton Finlay.
