BUILDING ON – MACKINTOSH

Venice + Glasgow

Please join us on Saturday 18 October 2-6pm for the first of two international symposia connecting recent events at The Glasgow School of Art in Scotland with the international community.

This first gathering in Venice set in the Querini Stampalia, a sixteenth century building restored in 1961 by Carlo Scarpa, brings together professionals and the public to explore and identify the key questions and cultural themes which the restoration of the Mackintosh Building and in particular the Library raises.

The first of two symposia will focus on the iconic Mackintosh library.

More information including directions and speaker biographies, visit the dedicated Building On - Mackintosh site.
