CHEAD: Engage - with Chair Linda Drew (GSA)
The aim of the conference is to investigate the
contribution that art and
design can make in different areas of our society and how this may
be picked
up in art school curricula. It will also compare developments at
school
levels in the UK and their impact on higher education. Delegates
will
further be invited to debate with our speakers how we can engage
others in
what we can achieve and contribute.
In addition, we offer sessions for several of our networks that
focus on
practical issues related to different aspects of art and design
higher
education.
Speakers for the conferences include:
* Professor Geoffrey Crossick, Distinguished
Professor of the Humanities,
University of London, and Director, AHRC Cultural Value
Project
