Communication Design Degree Show 2013 in
London

For the first time, the Glasgow School of Art Communication
Design degree show will exhibit in London. Taking place in
Shoreditch Town Hall on the 20th and 21st of June 2013, providing
an exciting opportunity to connect with key creative practitioners
within the design community.
The Glasgow School of Art Communication Design
degree show features the work of 40 graduating students from the
disciplines of Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography. It
encompasses work that spans a broad spectrum of media and
approaches.
Students who graduate from the department of
Communication Design frequently go on to excel in the creative
industries. Recent alumni from the department have included winners
of the Deutsche Bank Award 2012, Sky Arts Fund 2013, Scottish Album
of the Year award 2012, BAFTA Award winners 2009 and D&AD Best
New Blood Award 2009, joining other successful alumni from GSA.
Students have gone on to work with studios such as Pentagram,
Graphic Thought Facility, Lust, O-SB, Weiden + Kennedy, Lewis
Moberly, Williams and Phoa, BBC, Stand and ISO.
Talks that follow the same format as Pecha
Kucha

As part of our show, join Glasgow School of Art
Communication Design for an evening of talks that bear a remarkable
similarity to Pecha Kucha. The talks, which some say are very much
like Pecha Kucha, feature a line-up of graduating students, former
GSA students, and friends of the course.
