Reid Ground Floor Corridor

This group exhibition is curated by GSA Silversmith & Jewellery staff Andrew Lamb and Jonathan Boyd.

CONNECTED brings together, for the first time, eight designers from Denmark, Scotland, Holland and Iceland. Each member of the group have produced pieces that represent their interpretation of connectivity. The result is a diverse range of works ranging in style and technique, embracing a great array of materials. Intimacy and dedication is present in the works, with a precision and a commitment to making taking a leading role. Appearing out of this is a new narrative: telling stories as individuals within a group of makers--a tribute to diversity.

CONNECTED is a touring exhibition, with stops in Copenhagen at The Most Secret Gallery (20 Jan - 5 Feb 2017) and Munich for Munich Jewellery Week (9-12 March 2017) before being on display in Glasgow, in the Reid Ground Floor Corridor, The Glasgow School of Art (1-16 April).
