Open Evening Programme

5:30pm: Open

5:45pm: Daniel Livingstone, Programme Leader at the DDS, gives a whirlwind introduction to our research and the Masters courses on offer here in the DDS.

6.15pm: Matthieu Poyade, Research Fellow in Virtual Reality. Learn about our involvement in the latest cutting edge developments in Medical Visualisation, haptics and immersive experience.

6.45-7.30pm: Split into groups to discuss the degree programmes and for tours and demonstrations of the facilities. Be surrounded in sound in the ambisonic SoundLab, have a go at our haptic-arm, put on goggles to immerse yourself in a virtual world, listen to cinematic sound in our dubbing suites. Informally chat to staff about their experience and view recent student work.
