The Glasgow School of Art

The GSA Christmas Concert 2015 will be held on Saturday 5th December 2015 and will feature The Glasgow School of Art Choir and an array of vocal and instrumental soloists from the GSA. The evening will feature a diverse selection of music ranging from work by John Tavener to Stephen Sondheim, as well as traditional carols and some lesser-known festive pieces. In-keeping with tradition, there will be also be some audience participation required at some point in the evening!

The GSA Choir was formed in January 2012 to provide somewhere for staff and students of the Art School to come together and perform. The choir was founded - and is conducted - by Jamie Sansbury, an architecture student, whose aim when forming the choir was to provide a fun, audition-free ensemble that performs to a standard far above that of an average ‘amateur’ group.
