This year's undergraduate Fashion Show 2012 will be held at
SWG3.
Our third year textile students have been busily stitching,
weaving, knitting, cutting and dyeing in preparation for their
annual fashion show, taking place at SWG3.
The main aim of the show is to raise money for inclusion in a
showcase exhibition, New Designers, in London 2013. With that goal
in mind students are working flat out to organise every aspect of
the event; the making of the garments, selection of models, stage
design and promotion. Head of Department, Jimmy Stephen-Cran
promises the show will be as "sassy and energetic as ever, and that
more importantly this event offers students first hand experience
of the professional world."
As if that wasn't enough, there will be a chance to buy garments
designed and made by the students in the Fashion Show Boutique,
open both evenings.
Tickets available direct from:
GSA Shop, Dalhousie Street Entrance, Glasgow School of Art;
Art School Union, Sauchiehall Street; or online from
Ticket Scotland
Tickets are priced £7 and £5 (concession)
