GSA in Dunoon 2013
6 - 27 July, Thurs - Sat, 12 noon - 4 pm
The Glasgow School of Art is travelling 'doon the watter' for a
second year, taking the work of 2013 graduates to the Dunoon Burgh
Hall. This year's show brings together work from Fine Art, Design
and Architecture around a central theme of 'making.'
In a highly polished digital age, art school students are
increasingly returning to traditional skills and methods of making,
mixing old and new technologies in their production of contemporary
art and design. The exhibition includes painting, architectural
drawing, etching, cyanotype prints, copper plated resin casting,
animation, knitting, and the opportunity to make your own piece of
contemporary jewellery.
