The GSA's MDes Fashion and Textiles programme and Sustainability in Action Group present a talk by Australian textile artist, natural dyer, author and teacher India Flint.
India Flint works with cloth, paper, felt, weaving, stitch and bio-regionally gathered ecologically sustainable dyes – a rather long winded way of saying “windfallen leaves, bark and earth pigments”. She is the author of the books Eco Colour and Second Skin.
The one hour talk will take place at the Mackintosh Lecture Theatre, The Glasgow School of Art at 11am on Saturday 31 August.
All are welcome to the talk - to book a space and for enquiries please email GSAtalks2013@gmail.com. Refreshments served afterwards, admission free.
