This is the second joint exhibition tour run by GOMA and GSA Exhibitions. The tour, by the curators of each show, joins two exhibitions in the city that explore feminist approaches to art practice.

The tour begins at GOMA in Gallery 4, for Polygraphs, a group exhibition, centred around Abstract by Hito Steyerl, which explores truth, fiction and evidence in a complicated world. Artists are often witness to a changing global environment and their role within that is to document, ask questions and create layers of meaning to engage audiences with current international discourses. Polygraphs is drawn from Glasgow Museums' Collection and includes artists who interrogate dominant historical narratives about our connections to the arms trade, colonialism, the slave trade and feminism.

The group will then walk from GOMA to The Glasgow School of Art, Reid Gallery, to see and hear about Franki Raffles' solo exhibition Observing Women at Work. Franki Raffles (1955-94) was a feminist social documentary photographer. This exhibition presents a selection of photographs and material by Franki Raffles from three bodies of work, namely Women Workers in the USSR (1984/1989), To Let You Understand (1987-88) and material from the first Zero Tolerance campaign (1992), entitled 'Prevalence'. Zero Tolerance is a charity established by Franki Raffles and Evelyn Gillan, together with a small group of women who came together through working on Edinburgh District Council Women's Committee projects in the late 1980s. Zero Tolerance breaking campaign was to raise awareness of the issue of men's violence against women and children. Raffles' work is contextualised in this exhibition with works of key photographers including Margaret Fay Shaw (1903-2004), Helen Muspratt (1907-2001) and The Hackney Flashers Collective.

The gallery tour will last for 30 minutes at each venue, with up to 30 minutes for walking between venues.
