Julian Harrap is the principal of Julian Harrap Architects (London). Established in the 1970s, his practice specialises in offering architectural services for the repair and restoration of historic buildings as well as the extension and new buildings in historic settings.

Among the best known buildings to which he contributed are the Neues Museum in Berlin (design: David Chipperfield), the John Soane’s Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the early-nineteenth-century Mansion House of Cliveden (design: Charles Barry), and the Royal Pavilion in Brighton (design: John Nash).
