Lunchtime Talk:
Remembering those who served - GSA's WWI Roll of Honour

Wednesday 3 February 12:15-12:45

Meet outside the Reid Gallery on the ground floor of the Reid Building

GSA's Mackintosh Curator Peter Trowles and Archives and Collections volunteers Vivien Lamb and Karen Harkness will talk about the School's Roll of Honour, commissioned in 1925 to commemorate staff and students who served during the First World War. Join us to find out about how the Roll of Honour was commissioned, created and more recently conserved; and to learn about some of the individuals whose names appear on it: their connection to the School, their war service and their subsequent careers.

From the service of Venus to the worship of Mars, Curated by Rachel Lowther, runs until 28 February 2016

GSA’s Archives and Collections are open to visitor by appointment. For further information see www.gsa.ac.uk/archives
