Inspired by the ideologies of Joe Strummer and the punk movement in which young people took it upon themselves to take a stance against consumerism, conventions in society, making political statements and being proactive in a do it yourself culture.

Can architectural practice be counter culture and drive change?

Through this lecture series, Missing in Architecture aims to provoke thought and discussion around the future of the profession and the role of architectural practice in society.

Missing in Architecture is a collection of architects, students and educators and we want to promote creativity, collaboration, action and equality within the profession. Essentially we are interested in filling in the gaps in architecture that we care about.
