A PechaKucha Night – Curiosity. Discover the merits of a curious mind at work

Hear why industry leaders believe curiosity is a critical component to the success of their business, featuring Frazer Macdonald Hay - Director at The Glasgow School of Art Singapore.

After an initial introduction from the BCC CIBG Chairperson, Frazer Macdonald Hay, the evening will begin showcasing a unique mixture of professionals from all the British Chamber of Commerce business groups who are invited to participate in a Pecha Kucha presentation format highlighting the merits of a curious mind at work and it’s collaborative potential.

About PechaKucha Night

PechaKucha Night was devised in February 2003 by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Tokyo's Klein-Dytham Architecture (KDa) and quickly spread around the world. As of January 2013, PechaKucha Nights were being held in more than 600 cities worldwide.PechaKucha (Japanese for chit-chat) uses a unique 20x20 presentation and discussion format. Speakers use only 20 images and have only 20 seconds per image - six minutes 40 seconds in total, keeping things lively

Speakers come from diverse backgrounds, including businesspeople, entrepreneurs, photographers, designers, writers, idea innovators, comedians, musicians and scientists presenting a cross section of industry and introducing audiences to new ideas and insights that might otherwise remain hidden.

The presentation will be followed by open discussion, with the creative industries business group committee, promoting dialogue and participation.
