About PechaKucha Night
PechaKucha Night was devised in February 2003 by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Tokyo's Klein-Dytham Architecture (KDa) and quickly spread around the world. As of January 2013, PechaKucha Nights were being held in more than 600 cities worldwide.PechaKucha (Japanese for chit-chat) uses a unique 20x20 presentation and discussion format. Speakers use only 20 images and have only 20 seconds per image - six minutes 40 seconds in total, keeping things lively
Speakers come from diverse backgrounds, including businesspeople, entrepreneurs, photographers, designers, writers, idea innovators, comedians, musicians and scientists presenting a cross section of industry and introducing audiences to new ideas and insights that might otherwise remain hidden.
